The second employee of Happy Crab restaurant accused of selling alcohol to minors involved in a serious accident in Salem has turned into a police officer. Jie Liam, 25, was the restaurant waiter. He was released on bail and is due in court next month. Liam and Kailey Mendes, 34, face misdemeanor charges for the prohibitive sale of alcohol. Salem Police said the video shows two of the teens drinking for hours at Happy Crab and firing at one point with Mendes. Investigators allege the teens were never asked to show their IDs. the driver, Andrew Dzoiba, 19.
