REPORTS

MALICIOUS INJURIES (end), 2022-06030260, block 200 of S. Carlin Springs Road. At approximately 11:19 a.m. on June 3, police were dispatched to report an assault causing injury. The investigation determined that the two juvenile suspects approached the two juvenile victims and engaged them in a conversation, during which the suspects allegedly pushed the first victim to the ground and began punching him. When the second victim tried to intervene, he was punched in the face, causing serious injuries. Both victims were treated at the scene by doctors. The investigation is ongoing.

ATTEMPTED MALICIOUS INJURY, 2022-06030230, 2100 block of Washington Boulevard. At around 6:32 p.m. on June 3, police were dispatched to report a fight in progress. Upon arrival, it was determined that the suspect and victim were driving along Arlington Boulevard in Fairfax County when they were involved in a minor accident. The victim continued driving and the suspect followed and allegedly collided with the victim’s vehicle causing them to stop in the 2100 block of Washington Boulevard. The suspect then exited his vehicle and approached the victim’s vehicle and punched it through the window. The victim then exited his vehicle and a physical altercation ensued. Response officers located the two individuals and, following the investigation, took the suspect into custody. The victim and suspect were treated at the scene by medics for injuries sustained during the incident. Sang Min Kim, 35, of Gainesville, Va., was arrested and charged with attempted malicious injury and aggressive driving. He was held without bail.

VIOLATION OF WEAPONS, 2022-06050182, 1300 block of S. Joyce St. At approximately 4:23 p.m. on June 5, police were dispatched to report minors attempting to purchase alcohol. A surveillance was broadcast and responding officers located the juvenile suspect and two juvenile subjects in the area and detained them without incident. The investigation determined that the three minors entered a business and, when an employee approached and asked for identification, began to act in a disorderly manner. The miners left and returned shortly after, during which they were again asked to leave and the young suspect allegedly opened his backpack, brandished what was later determined to be a BB gun and made statements threatening to the employee. The two minor subjects were released from the scene. Petitions have been requested for the juvenile suspect. The investigation is ongoing.

ILLEGAL ENTRY, 2022-06050067, 1500 block of Fairfax Drive. At approximately 4:11 a.m. on June 5, officers were dispatched to report a break and enter. Upon arrival, officers observed an unoccupied building with a broken window. Upon entering the building, officers located the suspect inside and took him into custody without incident. Martell Maurice Eason, 34, of No Fixed Address, was arrested and charged with unlawful entry. He was held on bail.

FLIGHT, 2022-06040172, 1800 block of Fort Myer Drive. At around 4:00 p.m. on June 4, police were dispatched to report an unknown disturbance. Upon arrival, the victim said he met the unknown suspect at the Rosslyn Underground and they were heading to a convenience store when the suspect sprayed him with pepper spray and stole his cell phone. The victim refused to seek treatment. The suspect is described as a black male, 5’10, lean, wearing a dark green hoodie, dark jeans and basketball sneakers. The investigation is ongoing.

FLIGHT, 2022-06050114, 4200 block of Wilson Blvd. At around 11:30 a.m. on June 5, the police were dispatched to report that a robbery had just occurred. Upon arrival, it was determined that at approximately 10:50 a.m. the suspect entered the closed business and was advised by an employee to return during their opening hours. Shortly after, the male suspect returned, followed by two other male suspects. Suspects One and Two began grabbing eyeglass frames from the shelves, while Suspect Three kept watch. The employee confronted suspect one, who made threatening statements to her before the three suspects fled on foot with the stolen merchandise. Suspect One is described as a medium build black male, approximately 25 to 30 years old, 6’1″ to 6’3″, wearing a peach colored shirt, beige pants and a small black shoulder bag. Suspect 2 is described as a slim-built black male, approximately 25-30 years old, 6’0″ tall, wearing a gray hoodie, black pants, an alligator-style mask and black sneakers. Suspect three is described as a slim-built black male, approximately 25-30 years old, 6’0″ tall, wearing a gray hoodie, black ripped jeans, a face mask and black shoes. The investigation is ongoing.

FLIGHT, 2022-06060039, block 900 of Army Navy Drive. At approximately 4:19 a.m. on June 6, police were dispatched to report that a robbery had just occurred. Upon arrival, it was determined that at approximately 4:09 a.m. the victim was seated outside the business when the suspect vehicle approached and the passenger asked if he could see the victim’s cell phone. The victim agreed and the driver and passenger then exited the vehicle and entered the business and stole goods from the pharmacy. The suspects then fled in the suspect vehicle with the stolen merchandise. The two suspects are described as black men, wearing gray hoodies, dark pants and black masks. The suspect vehicle is described as a gray Jeep Cherokee. The investigation is ongoing.

INDECENT EXPOSURE, 2022-06030139, block 5000 of Columbia Pike. Around 12:53 p.m. on June 3, police were dispatched to the finding of an indecent assault. Upon arrival, officers met the female victim who said she observed the suspect standing in front of a business exposing her genitals. The suspect is described as a black male wearing gray sweatpants and a pink hat. Canvassing of the area by responding officers yielded a negative result. The investigation is ongoing.

ATTEMPTED ILLEGAL ENTRY, 2022-06050064, 1600 block of S. Joyce Street. At approximately 3:54 a.m. on June 5, police were dispatched to report an attempted break and enter. Upon arrival, it was determined that the victim was inside his residence when he heard what appeared to be the door opening and latching onto the chain latch before closing. No entry was made inside the residence and no damage was reported. There is no description of suspect(s). The investigation is ongoing.

BURGLAR (Late), 2022-06040165, 4300 block of 4e N St. At approximately 3 p.m. on June 4, police were dispatched to a late report of a break and enter. Upon arrival, it was determined that between approximately March 3 and April 4, the unknown suspect(s) entered the victim’s residence and stole numerous pieces of jewelry. There is no description of suspect(s). The investigation is ongoing.
