JioPhone Next on sale through Reliance Digital’s website: price, offers, specs

The JioPhone Next is now available for purchase through the Reliance Digital website. Previously, customers only had one option to purchase this entry-level phone. Interested buyers now no longer need to register for the device and can simply place an order on the company’s official website. The JioPhone Next is available at the same price on the online store, but you can take advantage of banking offers to get the device at a reduced rate. Read on to find out more.

JioPhone Next: Price in India

The JioPhone Next is priced at Rs 6,499 in India. This price is for 2GB RAM and 32GB storage model. According to the official Reliance Digital website, customers can get an instant discount of up to 10% on Yes Bank credit cards and up to 7.5% on American Express cards.

EMI credit card options start from Rs 305.93 per month. The company also offers a one-year manufacturer’s warranty. The site also notes that it won’t charge for shipping the phone.

JioPhone Next: Specifications, Features

The JioPhone Next offers a compact 5.45-inch screen with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and HD + resolution (720 x 1440 pixels). It also has an anti-fingerprint coating. The device runs on Pragati OS, which is an optimized version of Android for Indian users.

Under the hood, there’s a 1.3 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 215 quad-core processor. It is backed by 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage. Customers also have the option of expanding internal storage up to 512 GB using a microSD card.

For photography sessions, there is a single 13MP rear camera. On the front, we will find an 8MP camera to capture selfies. The smartphone comes with camera features like portrait mode, night mode, and some custom augmented reality filters in India.

The JioPhone Next has a 3,500mAh battery under the hood. On the connectivity side, the device supports a 3.5 mm audio jack, Bluetooth v4.1, Wi-Fi, a micro-USB port. and dual SIM slots. one will find features such as read aloud, live translation and support for Google Assistant.
