It happened: we got Hugh Neutron into Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl. It’s an impressive win – especially since he’s the first representative of Jimmy Neutron to become a fighter – but it’s a win we couldn’t have achieved without the support of his voice actor.
Mark DeCarlo unsurprisingly celebrated the victory with his fans on Twitter. But it turns out that’s not the only way the #HughNation has met like-minded HughHeads. DeCarlo actually has his own Discord server, the Mark DeCarlo Hughniverse. Invitations are open, and it’s full of love, appreciation, and lots of shitposting centered around the main man himself. There are even scheduled hangouts, with Hugh’s dedicated community of fans watching movies and following Nick Brawl updates together.
On his popular Twitter account, DeCarlo shared the login link to celebrate Hugh’s upcoming Nick Brawl appearance. He was confirmed to join the platform fighter last week, alongside Jenny Wakeman and Rocko.
Since then, DeCarlo has joined his Hugh Nation to promote his upcoming launch. He constantly shares memes, fan art and fan videos, clearly loving the role he played years ago.
If you were watching Jimmy Neutron back then, it’s worth joining the Hughniverse server. There’s even going to be a Q&A with Jimmy’s voice actor Debi Derryberry tomorrow at 11.30pm BST, so there’s a lot more to this than the shitposts.
The exact release date of Hugh Neutron has not been confirmed. However, we know he’s set to join the roster this summer, with Rocko being added in the fall. Jenny is already available for purchase now.
