In the latest social media battle, activist Kaitlin Bennett has accused singer Lil Nas X of threatening her "to rape" her dad. Amid the fury, the Internet wants to know more about the 25-year-old conservative activist and her husband Justin Moldow.

Bennett, the infamous "gun girl", got married to Justin Moldow in 2020 amid the Covid-19 pandemic. On March 19, 2020, Bennett posted a surprise wedding announcement to her social media pages. “Even through all the challenges we faced this week, we were still able to make a wedding happen!" she captioned the photo. "I'm so happy that everything worked out to end up being a perfect day with the most important people. Now he's stuck with me forever.”

Who is Justin Moldow?

Moldow who is based in Cleveland, Ohio, is of Italian, Spanish, and Jewish descent. He was raised in the Catholic faith, which strongly influences his politics. An honors student, he was politically and socially active and established the 'Young Americans for Liberty' at Manhattan College. Moldow holds a degree of B.S. in Marketing from Manhattan College.

Moldow started his political commentary site, Young Jeffersonians, with his now-wife Kaitlin Bennett in 2015. Moldow who has expertise in marketing, grew the site’s network to connect with other organizations. The site later re-branded itself as Liberty Hangout. Moldow’s bio on Liberty Hangout states that he is “an avid proponent of libertarian thought, as well as Austrian economics, and is a steadfast defender of liberty.” Kaitlin Bennett is the face of Liberty Hangout and one of the major content producers of the site. According to the bio by the companies website: "Justin’s academic achievements earned him ranks in the Mu Kappa Tau National Marketing Honors Society, as well as the Honor Society of Epsilon Sigma Pi. He is an ardent student of commerce and was the president of his school’s Entrepreneurship Club, as well as a founding father of Young Americans for Liberty at Manhattan College." The website further described him as: "a man proud of his Italian, Spanish, and Jewish descent, Justin holds firm to values of his ancestors. He is an avid proponent of libertarian thought, as well as Austrian economics, and is a steadfast defender of liberty. Born and raised a Catholic, Justin’s politics are guided by his faith in Christ."

Soon after their wedding, a screenshot surfaced online, of the time when Moldow was allegedly dating Kaitlin. In them, Moldow can be seen starting the conversation with “Hey beautiful.” When the recipient of the message questions whether Justin has a girlfriend, he says, “Please do not tell her and I’ll leave you alone.”

Soon, a few weeks after their wedding another rumor fueled that Moldow underwent Conversion therapy. "Reparative" or "conversion" therapy is a dangerous practice that targets LGBTQ youth and seeks to change their sexual or gender identities. According to Human Rights Campaign: the therapy includes "a range of dangerous and discredited practices that falsely claim to change a person’s sexual orientation or gender identity or expression. Such practices have been rejected by every mainstream medical and mental health organization for decades, but due to continuing discrimination and societal bias against LGBTQ people, some practitioners continue to conduct conversion therapy."

So after the conversion therapy theory went viral on the Internet, Moldow replied in a tweet saying: "Apparently a lot of liberals on this website are calling me gay for cleaning up nice on my wedding day. I think they're just in denial over the fact that they'll never have a wife as beautiful as mine. Or even find love."

Even though many claims slammed the couple, their social media suggests that they are still going strong.
