50 Cent’s ex, who is the mother of his child, has accused him of rape after she was named as an alleged sex worker in a lawsuit filed against Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs.
The lawsuit, filed in February by former producer and videographer for Diddy Rodney ‘Lil Rod’ Jones, named Daphne Joy as ‘a sex worker’ who allegedly sold her services to Combs. Jones alleges that Diddy forced him to have sex with prostitutes.
He also alleged that Diddy sexually harassed, drugged, and threatened him for over a year.
Joystrenuously denies ever being a sex worker saying the claim‘is 100% false and a character assassination.’
She dated 50 Cent – real name Curtis Jackson – between 2011 and 2012 and they share a son together, 11-year-old Sire. The couple split after Joy accused the In Da Club rapper of being abusive, which he denied.
Jackson appeared to react to Joy’s naming in the suit on social media, as he wrote: ‘I didn’t know you was a sex worker, [eye emojis] you little sex worker. LOL Yo this s*** is a movie.’
After these claims, a source toldUSWeeklythat given Joy’s naming in the lawsuit, Jackson is seeking sole custody of Sire.
Jackson confirmed this to Metro.co.uk in a statement, in which he also denies allegations brought against him by Joy in an Instagram post shared on March 28.
In a social media post titled Curtis James Jackson, Joy said: ‘Everything is a joke to you until our safety is compromised, which is happening now. You are wreaking real havoc, frenzy, and chaos onto people’s lives.
‘How would u feel if Sire was the one in handcuffs? For nothing.
‘We moved to New York to give you the opportunity to be a father to your son and you saw him 10 times out of the 2 years that we lived 1 mile away from you. I am tired of upholding and protecting an image to our son that you have never even earned.
‘Let’s put the real focus on your true evil actions of raping me and physically abusing me. You are no longer my oppressor and my God will handle you from this point on.
‘You have permanently damaged the last hope I had for you as a father to preserve our family with these last and final false claims made against me You have broken our hearts for the last and final time.’
Jackson has denied what he dubbed ‘baseless and false’ allegations of rape and physical abuse, claiming this was a reaction to his decision to seek sole custody of their son.
He shared a statement with Metro.co.uk, which said: ‘The disturbing allegations in the sworn pleadings recently filed in a court case related to Daphne Joy the mother of my 12-year-old child, has required me to take all necessary legal actions to protect my son Sire.
‘The most recent false and baseless accusations by Daphne Joy are clearly in response to my decision to seek sole custody of my son.
‘My son Sire is my main priority and keeping him in a safe environment is my only focus at this time.’
Diddy – real name Sean Combs – faces intense legal scrutiny, including allegations ofsexual assault and sex trafficking.
In the past several months, five people have made allegations of assault against Combs.
Late last year, Combs was accused of rape and violent behaviour in legal documents by his ex-girlfriend, Cassie – real name Casandra Ventura –but the claims were settled the next day,and he denied any wrongdoing.
Following Cassie, the second lawsuit came amid allegations that Combs drugged and date-raped a college student, and later shared a ‘revenge p*rn’ style video of the abuse.
An unnamed womanbecame the third to come forward,claiming that the rapper and singer-songwriter Aaron Hall took turns taping her and a friend, before ‘choking her in a violent rage’.
Inthe fourth lawsuitin just a few weeks, another woman – known only as Jane Doe – alleged that she was attacked by the music mogul when she was a teenager.
Combsissued a blanket denial of all allegationsagainst him in December, saying in a statement: ‘Enough is enough. For the last couple of weeks, I have sat silently and watched people try to assassinate my character, destroy my reputation and my legacy.
‘Sickening allegations have been made against me by individuals looking for a quick payday. Let me be absolutely clear: I did not do any of the awful things being alleged. I will fight for my name, my family and for the truth.’
Lil Rod’s suit marks the fifth. He is seeking $30million (£23.7million) in damages.
